Eight years have passed since I wrote my first post on missmotogp.com. Eight years full of lifeblood, passion and enthusiasm for motorcycle racing, which I was able to share with you.
Sun, blue skies and warm temperatures - a perfect scenario for a historic race weekend. The first race weekend of the new Women's Circuit Racing World Championship - WorldWCR for short - took place as part of the Superbike World Championship in Misano. But what was supposed to be a milestone for women in motorcycle racing turned out to be a rather bumpy start.
Last weekend the time had come - Lennox Lehmann returned to the race track. After his serious injury last September, the road back on the bike seemed uncertain and tough at first. But Lennox never gave up and fought his way back. His 2024 season will now also start with his entry in the IDM Supersport.
The 2024 season has begun in Qatar and at the same time we are celebrating the 75th anniversary of MotoGP! 1015 Grands Prix since 1949, 3371 races in the solo classes and 30 countries as host cities - the history of the motorcycle world championship is long and full of legends, surprises and excitement.
